Township Area
Franklin Township spans 66 miles. It’s bounded on the North by Rockford, on the West by Marysville and Woodland Townships, on the South by Carver County and on the East by Hennepin County.
2024 Monthly Board meetings start at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Hall—8735 County Road 16 SE, Delano.

Traffic Control: End of July 2024
Clearing/Grubbing: Week of August 5th 2024
Surcharge/Grading: Week of August 5th 2024
Pier 1: First week of October 2024
Pier 2: Third week of October 2024
South Abutment: First week of February 2025
North Abutment: Last week of February 2025
Beam Placement: First week of April 2025
Deck Placement: Last week of May 2025
Finish approach grading: Third week of July 2025
Move traffic onto new bridge: Middle of August 2025
Remove old bridge and roadway: End of August 2025
**Work after October 2024 may continue dependent on weather and conditions. The existing roadway and bridge will be open and safe for traffic throughout the duration of the project.
